An interesting and unusual piece, the Octagonal stool forms a dramatic centrepiece for a large room or reception area. The top is flat stuffed, making it an ideal surface for anything from tea trays to books & magazines.
Around the sides, two borders give an opportunity to showcase lavish braids, cords and fringes to accentuate the status and opulence of the setting. Alternatively, if a plainer look is required, the borders can be applied as a single panel joining the top only, or a simple welt could be specified.
The base is often decorated with a deep fringe, but an alternative would be wooden feet or a plinth to again change the look and mood of this accent piece.
