The Montrose range. like its counterpart the Selkirk, features coil sprung arms, back and seat with feather and down seat cushions as standard. This high specification is backed up by Greengate's use of traditional materials such as hog hair and pure new cotton wadding in the construction of all our upholstery. Making sofas this way is certainly not the cheapest way, but in the long term it is still by far the best!
Shown here with a valanced finish, the Montrose can also have a fringe, contrast bound valances or a fixed front border to show optional bun feet to alter the look. Four scatter cushions are also supplied to enable you to dress the sofa any way you like. It goes without saying that the usual Greengate hand finishing process is applied to the Montrose, just as it is with all our upholstery.
