The Lancing chair is a copy of a Victorian original dating from the 1870's. Greengate has reproduced this chair from an incomplete set of original drawings. The Lancing has a hand tied seat with cane edge on all sides and hand-turned, solid mahogany legs.
Like all our upholstery, this piece contains no foam and is built using traditional materials and methods which include hand finished outside seams and antique or bright brass wheels.
