The Hart chair was produced from a drawing found in a London archive. It is of late Victorian pedigree with no alterations to the original attempted. A feather and down cushion over hand tied coil springs makes up the seat, whilst the back is hair stuffed and deep buttoned. As with all Greengate upholstery, the outsides are hand closed using the traditional invisible 'slip stitching' technique.
The elegant tapered solid mahogany legs are completed with brass square plates and china wheels. Note that the brassware is available in either a bright or antique finish.
