The Fontwell stool, available in 13 standard sizes, has rag polished solid mahogany hand-turned legs fixed in a beech frame. The upholstery comprises a hand tied, coil sprung seat over an English webbing lattice with hair-stuffing and white cotton felt layers placed over the springs.
The usual option of bright or antique brass and china castors is available and for added authenticity, the bottom hessian (burlap) lining is fixed in place with old style tacks.
