The Edward chair, and its low-backed counterpart, the Edwina are based on small Edwardian originals. The inspiration for this piece came from a chair which was sitting forlornly on the side of the road in Thame, Oxfordshire during a closing down sale.
The Greengate version features hand sprung back and seat with feather and down seat cushion. The frame has hand polished, solid mahogany tapered legs with square brass plates on the base and china wheels. The brassware can be supplied in either bright or antique finish to customer choice.
