The Carrick ottomans come in two standard sizes, as shown in the table below. They provide a useful accessory within any room, where their internal storage capability provides additional utility over and above their pleasing styling.
A solid beech frame provides the essential strong foundation which a functional piece of furniture must have. Unless specified otherwise, the inside of the box storage area is lined with a smart mattress ticking which is invisibly hand sewn around the base edges of the ottoman top to prevent fabric fraying after repeated opening and closing of the lid.
Fabric choice is, of course, unlimited (fabrics not meeting the U.K. fire regulations are interlined at no extra charge). Small solid mahogany bun feet ensure the piece does not move away whilst the lid is opened and provides an attractive feature in itself if a fringe is not required.
