A classical English style, the Beaufort is available in two seat depths. The coil sprung, fixed back ensures that the sofa will always look smart. The Ascot range is also available which does have back cushions if this is the style preferred. These two ranges can also be very successfully mixed and matched to vary the 'look' as desired.
Greengate builds all its upholstery to a very high standard, and the Beaufort is no exception to this rule. We use traditional materials and methods to construct each piece, with hog hair, pure new cotton wadding and hessian scrims forming many of the stuffing layers. Our attention to detail extends to the finishing process, which is carried out entirely by hand with all edges being closed with the traditional slip stitching method. Like many of our products, the Beaufort is available with either bright or antique brassware to choice.
